Becoming the Game of Choice

With 7 of our members now playing Day of Defeat Source and our own server running it would appear that we have growing interest among our members to move into a new game. Very much like CoD2 (WWIItype action and weapons) without the hassle that the game CoD2 has given some players,myself included, with installation issues and server connectivity. There are plenty of maps and mods out there and a map editor released by Steam, the game creators. The maps in DoD:S are well beyond what you will find in CoD2 with some maps more akin to UnReal Tournament. In other words there is a huge variety of maps that can be run and new maps are being created all the time with the blessing of the game creators. In CoD2 it is, as I have been told, a real hassle to come up with new maps and mods.

All in all if your looking to move to another game and have been thinking about CoD2 you should rethink and purchase Day of Defeat Source instead.
